A representative of Junk Matters (http://junkmattersllc.com/), a local recycling and composting company that was created by a Wofford College graduate just a few years ago and has grown to be quite a local success story, will be giving a presentation about the motivation to start the company and the struggles to get businesses and organizations in Spartanburg to be better recyclers. The Residence Halls on campus recently contracted with this company for all of the recycling needs in the Palmetto and Magnolia Houses. This will be an enlightening discussion for both the sustainability-minded students, as well as those interested in starting their own business right out of college.
