For 20 years, the Diversity Conference has served as a pre-service teacher collaborative bringing students from various backgrounds together to discuss diverse issues and perspectives while learning from one another about cultural issues. The information students receive during this conference will help prepare them to meet the needs of the children they will someday teach. The 20th anniversary conference will be feature key note speaker Lopez Lomong and a performance from the Hendrix Elementary School's International Choir.
