Join us for Part II of Culturally Responsive Teaching and Learning where a panel of faculty and staff from diverse disciplines, backgrounds, and training, will discuss and demonstrate culturally responsive teaching strategies that aim to create an inclusive classroom environment. Research shows that successful culturally responsive teaching and learning involves:
--Designing instruction that builds on what students already know while stretching them beyond the familiar
--Building on students' personal and cultural strengths
--Examining course content from multiple perspectives
