On Wednesday, January 23, in room 232, please join JCBE Associate Dean Dr. Elnora Stuart, College of Arts and Sciences Dean Dr. Dirk Schlingmann, and the Director of the Center for International Studies, Dr. Deryle Hope, to learn more information about the dual degree partnership the USC Upstate has with Landshut University in Germany. Students from Landshut currently studying at the George will also be on hand to share their very important insight. We will meet at 3:15 pm for approximately one hour.

Ideally, interested students will have approximately 90 earned hours at the beginning of the next academic year (August 2013-May 2014). Students in the program will earn a Bachelor of Science in International Business for their semester of study at Landshut University (courses are taught in English) followed by a semester-long internship at BMW Manufacturing there or one of their suppliers in the area. Students will then return for their “senior year” at USC Upstate to complete their first degree here (the remaining 30 credit hours), so as to earn a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration (or whatever other major field of study).
