Shoestring Players Present "A Tuna Christmas"

Event Detail
Date: Friday, December 14th
Time: 7:00 pm-8:30 pm
Description:

Holiday festivities abound when the Shoestring Players at the University of South Carolina Upstate perform A Tuna Christmas, the hilarious sequel to Greater Tuna, by Ed Howard, Joe Sears, and Jaston Williams on December 14 and 15 at 7:00 p.m. in the Performing Arts Center Studio Theatre.

Taylor Smith from Union and Townsend Reynolds from Charleston are the cast members.

In A Tuna Christmas it is Christmas in the third smallest town in Texas. Radio station OKKK news personalities, Thurston Wheelis and Arles Struvie, report on various Yuletide activities, including hot competition in the annual lawn display contest. In other news, voracious Joe Bob Lipsey's production of A Christmas Carol is jeopardized by unpaid electric bills. You’ll recognize many colorful Tuna denizens, some from Greater Tuna and others appearing here for the very first time.

The cost is $7 per person, which includes a light dessert and tea or hot chocolate. Tickets can be reserved by calling the USC Upstate Box Office at (864) 503-5695. Seating is limited so reservations are a must.
