Gardner, the Charles and Mary Beard Professor of History at Rutgers University, will speak to Dr. Romine's "presidency" class on Thursday, November 29 at 12:15. The class will be in HEC 2039 to accomodate visitors.
Dr. Gardner is a visiting professor at Wofford this semester. He is the author of more than a dozen books including: The Road to Tahrir Square: Egypt and the United States from the Rise of Nasser to the Fall of Mubarak; Three Kings: The Rise of an American Empire in the Middle East; Pay Any Price: Lyndon Johnson and the Wars for Vietnam; and The Case That Never Dies: The Lindbergh Kidnapping.
Dr Gardner will discuss "American National Security Policy" in Dr. Romine's class, with an emphasis on President Obama's second term. All faculty are invited to attend. There will be a reception after the class. |

(HPAC) Humanities and Performing Arts BuildingThe choirs of USC Upstate present their annual holiday program of traditional and and popular holiday carols. There will be brass players, percussion and other solo instrumentalists to accompany the choirs. In addition, Dr. Tish Oney will be featured soprano soloist. |
