The Spartanburg Writing Project will host it's annual Fall Renewal conference on Thursday, October 18, 2012. This year's event will focus on implementing and assessing Common Core State Standards in reading, writing and research across all disciplines. Featuring an expert panel discussion including representatives from the SC State Department of Education, along with concurrent workshop sessions led by local educators, this unique professional development event will help teachers achieve a better understanding of CCSS and provide them with tools and ideas for making the transition to CCSS more manageable.
